    I may have typed in the wrong Username for the transfer of my website.
    How can i get it back, so I can transfer it to the right account?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Unknown

    The url was bsmoerrebroed.wordpress.com

    And i think the username a was SanneAdmin.

    What is the intended username of the account that should receive that site?

    As it stands at the moment, the new site owner would need to initiate at transfer back to you.

    I am not sure anymore. It is because i have to transfer the site to a wordpress account made from another host site. I wrote the Username i thought it was but it has not been transfered to that… Really really sorry about the inconvience.

    We use a different process for migrating your WordPress.come to the site to a different hosting provider because your internal username system does not connect with WordPress sites you may have through other providers.

    To move the site to another provider, you would first export it here and then import it with your new provider. We have a guide here you can use for that: https://wordpress.com/support/export/#export-content-to-another-word-press-site.

    To clarify, you need access to bsmoerrebroed.wordpress.com back, yes? To do that, we will need to contact the new site owner (the person you transferred it to on WordPress.com), so please let us know, and we can send that message on your behalf; thanks.

    Yes, i did it wrongly i see.

    Please see if you can get them to transfer it back, as it did not come to the second account i tried to send it to. You may ask for it back on my behalf!

    Are you sure it was transferred to an existing user?

    More if not can I at least get it removed from public eye?

    Isn’t there anything that can be done, as I either need my access back or get it unpublished or something. I am so so so sorry about making this mistake. I thought it would be sent to my second account but it has not and I am really panicked over what to do now. Please help.

    We can confirm this is the case.

    I know this can be frustrating. At this stage, without hearing from the the new owner of the site, we’re unable to to act except to reach out via email as we have done currently.
