  Hi, I think I messed up. I am the owned of Kont and Fleur. I was trying to add a new author for our blog section as the girl that works for us is now creating blog posts for us

  I checked the site and noticed that your username is not the site’s administrator (or the owner). Your user role on the site is “Author.”

  This guide will explain how you can invite other contributors to work on your website with you using the Users area of your WordPress.com dashboard. Instead of giving someone your username and password (which would be a security risk), you can invite them to create their own user account on your site and grant different levels of permission depending on what you want the person to be able to do

  Speaking of other invites, I do see that there’s one pending invite for the “Author” role from yesterday 😊

  That user must accept the invite, after which they can write posts on your site.
