I messed up my blog seriously by adding a new theme and somehow the .com disappeared? I need help!
-
Yesterday, I purchased a new theme {which is not working for me.} Somehow the domain for Winding River Herbs disappeared and reverted back to the wordpress.com. I have seriously messed up my blog with not knowing what the heck I’m doing. Please can someone help me put everything back, before I screwed up the website/blog?
I have seriously messed up and need help!!
Thank You!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Do you still need help with this? Currently I’m seeing your site at the domain: http://wildrosesandlavendercottage.com/ as seen here:
Let me know if you have any questions with this!
-
Thank You for your response! When I was trying to transfer the new theme to another blog I had inadvertently used the transfer from windingriverherbals.com to wildrosesandlavendercottage.com. I tried transferring back and the same result has happened. I think!
I sincerely hope I didn’t mess things up so bad that I can not redo/undo the catastrophe ensued. I actually need someone to do our websites for us than trying to do it myself. Sometimes going cheaper is not the answer! As we all can see! Thank You for your help; I sincerely appreciate this. -
Hi there,
No worries at all. So is everything ok? If not, let me know exactly which theme you want on each site. I can make sure everything is set up properly.

Hello, actually I think I really screwed up. We paid for the domain for windingriverherbals.com in January, then paid for wildrosesandlavendercottage.com in February. While I was trying to fix the transfer mess I made back to windingriverherbals.com our bank card was charged again. I would like for the Zuki theme on windingriverherbals.com and wildrosesandlavendercottage.com. My fear is that windingriverherbals has 19 pages while the other has two pages. Does this matter? I am in such gratitude if you can set this up properly {for I sure do not know what the heck I’m doing!} A question for you – is there someone who can set up the websites for us instead of me trying to do this on my own? As you can see, it’s not working out well..LOL
Thank You for your patience and help. I’m in gratitude up to my ears! -

I’m not seeing multiple charges in your account. I’m seeing a charge for the domain: windingriverherbals.com in February, the domain: wildrosesandlavendercottage.com in March and one Premium Theme: Zuki in March as well. Those are the only charges on your account.
I would like for the Zuki theme on windingriverherbals.com and wildrosesandlavendercottage.com.
The Zuki theme is only on windingriverherbals.com. If you want it on wildrosesandlavendercottage.com you will have to purchase Zuki again as the theme applies to one blog. If you want to purchase Zuki on wildrosesandlavendercottage.com, you would have to purchase it again.
Right now I see that the site: windingriverherbals.wordpress.com is pointing to the domain: wildrosesandlavendercottage.com. Then site: wildrosesandlavendercottage.wordpress.com is pointing to the domain: windingriverherbals.com. Do you want to switch that around?
A question for you – is there someone who can set up the websites for us instead of me trying to do this on my own?
We don’t create sites for our users, but we’d be more than happy to help you get this settled. Then you can create content for yourself as you see fit!
You may find WordPress.com tutors/consultants that you may be interested in, but we wouldn’t be able to speak to their knowledge or expertise.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

Thank You again for your help! We want everything to point to windingriverherbals.com not the vis-a-virsu I created. For now we would like the Zuki theme for windingriverherbals.com as time progresses we want to upgrade both sites {I will not even attempt this!}
My intention was not to create such a mess! I have learned my lesson to let the pro’s handle such endeavors.
Thank you for your generous help and I promise not to do this again.
Sincerely, Diana L. Jones -
Ok so, should I just leave everything as is? The Zuki theme is on the site with the domain: windingriverherbals.com. If you go to windingriverherbals.com and see exactly what you want then you should be set. If not, let me know!
windingriverherbals.com looks like this:
and wildrosesandlavendercottage.com looks like this:
If you want those switched, I can easily do that as well.

Thank You again for your help. I noticed that windingriverherbals.com is on wildrosesandlavendercottage.com and vis-a-virsu. They need to be switched to their own website/blog. I do not know how I managed to mess that up as well. But, the domain names are on the wrong website. Thank You for your help in this matter. I’m now a new staunch supporter if watching tutorials and all of the aids in helping one become far more knowledgeable.

Ok they have been switched. Clear out your cache and cookies using the guide below:
Then you should be set.

Thank You ever so much for helping me! Actually, you did the rescuing I sat here dumbfounded and literally upset beyond reasoning! I learned many lessons from this incident, one very important lesson was to start watching the numerous tutorials before embarking on an endeavor {or, find someone who knows what in the heck their doing!}. Watching the tutorials would be the sound advice which this person has heeded.
Thank You for being our rescuing angel.
This incident has put into mind a post about diligently watching the tutorials and the wonderful help from the staff at WordPress.
