I messed up the mapping of my site
-
I have the blog uvoted4them.wordpress.com
I also have the domain uvoted4them.com, which I purchased through WordPress.
I paid for the premium upgrade and, unfortunately, the wrong blog was mapped to uvoted4them.com (This, of course, was the result of a stupid mistake that I made. I know what I did wrong and will never do it again, but can’t figure out how to fix it.)
Please help me fix the mapping issue with uvoted4them.com. Now, when I enter uvoted4them.com in the browser, Firefox tells me the site can’t be found and I should check my typing, etc. Many thanks for whatever help you can provide.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, it looks like you cancelled that domain on August 13 and obtained a refund. The domain may now be available to re-register – I suggest you try doing that!
Let me know how it goes.

I did cancel the original $18 purchase, after I did the $99 upgrade. My bank statement shows a refund of the $18, but the upgrade as still going through.
I would try to re-register the domain, but payday isn’t until Friday and I can’t afford another $99 out of my account right now. Also, when I go to my Word Press blog, it shows that I have paid for the premium upgrade and says I should choose a domain, but when I try to choose to uvoted4them.com. Word Press tells me it is taken. Clicking on “I own this domain” doesn’t get me anywhere.
Thank you for your help. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ann

You cancelled the domain about a week ago, and it can take some time for it to re-enter the pool of available domain names. Sometimes, as we warn during the cancellation process and on our support page, it’s possible that a domain that was cancelled doesn’t become available to register again.
The best thing you can do is keep checking every day to see if uvoted4them.com becomes available to register again again. Good luck!
