I might have been scammed by WordPress.

Hello,
I sent an email last week to confirm that I was able to reinstate my domain name, elisasmusicstudio.com and I have not heard back from WordPress. Now that I’ve tried that name in google it appears that the domain name is being used by another company. WordPress told me that if I paid the $99.00 that I could aquire that name again through the registrar. Now it appears that WordPress either lied to me or that WordPress is giving me the run around. This is intensely frustrating since I can’t get a website together without this.
If I need to change domain names for my website please tell me because right now I can’t do business and I’m losing money.

We sent the following to you on August 31, but never received a reply:
We have sent a PayPal request for payment of $98 for the renewal to [your email address]. Please reply with the Transaction ID after you have paid it so that we can reinstate your domain name.
As we did not receive a reply, the domain elisasmusicstudio.com was never recovered and was later purchased by someone else.
If you did send the $98 payment, please let me know the transaction ID and I’ll issue a refund.

This is my transaction ID. from paypal. My payment was made August 31st. 2012.Since my domain name was purchased by someone else, can I register another name? I have been charged by Pool.com for “elisasmusicstudio.com” as well so now I’ve paid out money 3 times for a domain name that has been sold to someone else. I think I deserve some help here because it feels like I’ve just been scammed.

I have refunded the $98 that you sent us. As for Pool.com, you’ll need to contact them about the status of the domain and your charge.
You are welcome to register another domain at any time via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

I have contacted Pool.com. I would like to be able to acquire a new domain name. This is SOOO FRUSTRATING because I haven’t really been helped with this and I’ve been working on this since the end of July. I’m furious that I can make a payment which was intended to speed things up and 2 weeks later WordPress doesn’t have a record of the payment? The biggest loss here is my business. I’m really in the tank here because I can’t work on my website.
Is there anything that you can do to help me acquire a new domain name FAST.

We did help, but never received the requested reply from you after you had sent payment, so we were not able to recover your domain.
As stated above, I have refunded that payment.
You can acquire a new domain now by adding it via Store -> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.

I think what you’re seeing there is just what’s known as a ‘parking page’ that shows while the domain is in limbo waiting for direction.
