I Miss The Action Bar
-
Hi all,
I have a feeling I already know the answer, but I have to ask anyway.
I just upgraded to the Business plan (thank you WordPress.com) for lowering the price on that a little bit.. That $60 savings is HUGE, and much appreciated. Not sure if that was a sale, or the new normal price, but it made it a little easier to upgrade.
Now that I’m on the Business plan, I no longer have the Action Bar at the top with all of the edit options and add new page/post, etc, or the thing that pops up at the bottom right with the Edit / Edit site links…… and I am lost lol.
If it weren’t for the fact I still have my dashboard opened in a tab, I wouldn’t have a clue how to get into my website lol…. yes I would… through my account.
Anyway, I realize that is removed apparently as some sort of security thing, but I wonder is there a plugin that can bring this back? Navigating WordPress without this is a pain.
Thanks!

Oh and one more thing I want to say thank you for is, is I noticed WordPress.com or maybe it was the Jetpack people have now added the options to have your blog automatically post to Bluesky and Mastodon, and even Nextdoor and Tumblr, plus Facebook (althought I know the latter two were already there). This has been great for my blog since we can no longer use that for X (Twitter). I now have my blog posting for me to 4 networks, and soon will set up a Facebook page, and maybe Threads as well. This is very powerful when all you want to do is keep the grind going without having to waste time in social media updates. Thank you!
