I have my own domain name registered until 2025. when I click on it bethchristie.org it tells me that I need to renew my wordpress site. I have tried to do this but I can’t seem to get a renewal page for the renewal package I was on.
when I search my purchase history I can see the £85 fee coming off every year. But it looks like my payment card expired so the renewal didnt happen automatically.
I’ve added a new card today. Can I have the renewal taken off of that card and my site restored?
Or can I be sent a new renewal link to the £85 annual renewal package I was on?

Hi there!
I had a look at your account, and I see you used to have plan Premium and a domain connection. That means your domain wasn’t registered here but connected to your WordPress.com site. Since your subscriptions expired, the domain was disconnected from the site. That’s why the custom address does not work anymore and you can only access your site by going to bethchristieorg.wordpress.com.
To be able to reconnect the domain back to your site, you’d need to upgrade to a paid plan again. We’ve just modified our plan offer, though, so it’s not possible to purchase Premium again:

Our new Pro plan will give you more features and let you connect the domain free of charge.

Can you confirm that’s the correct site?
If so, you can repurchase that plan and that should fix things.
However, looking at your account, you purchased Pro for

yes can you move it as I want it for the website – the one with all of the pages that had been built since about 2018/19.

yes can you move it as I want it for the website – the one with all of the pages that had been built since about 2018/19.
I have successfully moved bethchristie.org to bethchristiedotorg.wordpress.com.

You will need to set bethchristie.org as your primary domain so that your custom domain is showing instead of bethchristiedotorg.wordpress.com.

I’ve just transferred my domain to wordpress so that I can set it as my primary site. But I’ve been charged £15 to do this. I thought the service was free with my proplan?
Can you check that if this payment will be refunded?
the domain is still transferring but once it has transferred then I’m assuming I can set this as my primary site and all will be working.

I’ve moved the Pro plan to that site and made bethchristie.org the primary address.
Also, I’ve refunded you the domain transfer purchase as that’s included for free in the Pro plan.

Looks like you created that site by accident. If you want, you can delete it by following these instructions:
