  I misspelled my domain name it should be scpoliticaldigest.com, NOT scpolitcal.com

  Can it be changed (officially by you) to scpoliticaldigest.com ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  Right now, I see two different custom domains linked to your site:

  1. You registered the domain scpolitcaldigest.com. Since that’s the misspelled version, you can cancel that domain registration for a full refund using the “Cancel and Refund” link next to the misspelled domain under Store > My Upgrades in your site’s dashboard.

  If you’d like help with that step, please let me know right away and I can cancel that for you.

  2. You linked the domain scpoliticaldigest.com to your site. It looks like that’s the correctly spelled version.

  Since that domain was already registered with a different domain registrar, you can finish mapping that domain to your WordPress.com site by updating the domain’s name servers to the following:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  I know this may not be your area of expertise, but can you tell me why I've been getting a Google 404. That’s an error. Or who can I report it to? The requested URL / was not found on this server. That’s all we know. Repsonse of scpolitcaldigest,con on WordPress?

  That Google 404 was because the domain scpoliticaldigest.com wasn’t yet pointed to WordPress.com (it wasn’t using the WordPress.com name servers). If the domain was using Google’s name servers and you didn’t have a site set up with Google, they would give that 404 error.

  However, I see that your domain is now pointed to WordPress.com and I see your site when I visit the domain, so you should be all set there. :) Just let me know if you have any other questions about that.

  Thank you for the help. I think all is well now. I’ll be moving forward w/ some updates now.
