I mistakenly created two users, using two different email addresses, combine them?

    Hi! I’m sure this happens all of the time? Right? :)
    I’m not sure how I did it, but somehow I ended up with two WordPress accounts.
    I want (email visible only to moderators and staff), to be the main account, using scotrick as the user name so
    please delete the account attached to:
    (email visible only to moderators and staff)
    BUT I really need the user name’scotrick’
    because it is my website address and as a brain damaged person too many details mess me up. I think that’s how I ended up in this mess in the first place. :)
    so, to repeat, what I’d like, is to have a single user name and email address, with those being:
    scotrick
    (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Go to https://wordpress.com/me/account

    Ensure you are logged into the account you do not want to keep.

    Change the email address, by adding +1 just before the @ sign. For example:
    (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    Check your email for the change of address confirmation, and click that.

    Next, log into the account you do want to keep. You should now be able to add the correct address and confirm it.

    From there, you can delete the old account if you’d like, or simply leave it dormant.
