I need a calendar of events

Does anyone know if there are plans in the works for a calendar of events widget? I tried to share my Google Calendar and posted the code in the text widget. It did not seem to dsplay properly. I didn’t like it so I took it out.

I’m sorry but the only event calendar we can embed into free hsoted WordPress.com blogs is the Google calender. Sidebars are small areas so why don’t you create a Page and use the code on it instead?

Once you’ve embedded the Google calendar of events, can readers access it directly on your blog, or do they have to create a Google account of their own?

Thank you for this. However, although I’ve now followed the instructions and copied the code into a newly-created page, all I can see is the coding I’ve copied, not the actual calendar. Any ideas, please?

Did you copy and paste the code into the HTML editor?
It will not be operationsl if you did that in the Visual editor. You will only see code in that case.
