I need a domain name that i deleted.

I changed my domain name several times but did not realise that it would mean i wouldn’t be able to reuse the domain again. Any way to restore access to that name ? Thank you.

If you are talking about a free site deleted less than 30 days ago have you checked if you can restore it yourself at https://wordpress.com/sites. But if you changed the site to a different name the chances are that you have lost that name and will need to create a new free site named something similar.

Could you please share the full domain name, like legrandheronbleu.com or legrandheronbleu.wordpress.com? That’ll help me check on it and see what we can do to recover it for you.Please keep in mind that if you’re referring to a WordPress.com site address (like legrandheronbleu.wordpress.com), those can’t be reused once they’ve been deleted, as explained here:

Changed domainnames are lost forever as very clearly stated when you changed that domain name. You even had to confirm you understood the consequences – https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/

@elcristofue Yes it was a free wordpress domain. legrandheronbleu.wordpress.com had no idea you couldn’t reuse it once it was deleted and it has been more than 30 days. Is there really no way to restore it ? Thank you for your reply.

Once a WordPress.com subdomain is changed, the old one is usually retired and can’t be reused.
Why don’t you go with buying your own domain name?

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to recover that site address. However, another possible solution is to register the domain legrandheronbleu.com, which is currently available for purchase.
