I need a happiness engineer – I am trying to upgrade to premium but nothing happens when I hit the “Get Premium”. I also tried the same with VideoPress and nothing has happnened. Can you tell me where to do from here? I would like to start adding videos to my pages and posts without having to embed YouTube code.

Hi there. http://johntracymusic.com/ is not a WordPress.com site, but a self-hosted WordPress.org site. You cannot buy WordPress.com upgrades for a self-hosted site as the two platforms are completely separate and different: http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You should be able to install a plugin to your self-hosted site to upload and embed videos. Please post on the WordPress.org forum for help with that: http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t already have a username on that forum, click the register button in the upper right corner so you can post in that forum.

One more question – when I look at the VideoPress plugin in Jetpack it shows it’s been paid for. From what I’m reading on wordpress.org they keep referring to videopress as video hosted on wordpress.com. I’m unclear here on two things –
did I play for Videopress and if so, why don’t I seem to be able to access the plugin
the site is hosted on Bluehost – will Videopress still work. I don’t seem to be able to get a clear answer on that from the wordpress.org forum.
Any thoughts?

I’m afraid I’ve no idea how WordPress.org works. Regarding Jetpack, here’s the link for their support pages: http://jetpack.me/support/ I think that’s the best place to ask about that plugin specifically.
