I need a lot of help.

Who/what is my hosting company? Do I need an FTP program? The video on YouTube does not match my WordPress display? Who/what is my server? What is my root folder of my web directory on my server? I downloaded WordPress without saving the program first. How can I fix that? How do I upload my website/blog to my server? I do not understand the instructions below. I do not understand the vocabulary or any of it.

WordPress.com is your hosting company.
You do not need FTP and in fact you can’t use it here.
The video on Youtube is probably talking about WordPress.ORG, which is a different type of WordPress.
