I need a Mailchimp plug-in, how can I add that to my wordpress.com site?

I have an existing Mailchimp subscriber list which I want to link to my new free wordpress.com blog. I can’t figure out how to do this. I don’t have a plug-in feature on my dashboard & I can’t use any URL links directly from my Mailchimp list, because I don’t know how & where to paste them onto my blog. (I am not that techno-savvy, but can normally help myself with basic dashboard functions) Can anyone please help with step by step instructions? Thanks for any advice!

    Hi there,

WordPress.com doesn’t allow to embed code from mailchimp directly, but you can find workaround in this support thread:

There is a trick provided by @jessedp, which does all that you need.

Thanks, it worked. I made an image widget on my wordpress blog. (print screen of a mailchimp sign up image I grabbed from mailchimp website) Then I linked the URL of my own mailchimp unique sign-up form to that image. Was tricky first, because I had to paste that screen shot image somewhere else, live, on my website so that I could get an URL link for that specific image. (If it makes sense…) I guess it is not the best final solution, but hey, it is still free and it works :-)
