I need a refund for the space upgrade

I mistakenly have paid $20 possibly for two consecutive years now, thinking I would get an additional 10GB each time. I didnt realize the maximum space upgrade was a total of 10GB. I feel there should be some sort of a notification given that one cant exceed 10GB upon making payment each time, otherwise I’m paying for absolutely nothing since I upgraded years ago.
I love WordPress and it’s never my intent to be a difficult customer, any help here would be most appreciated

Hi there! There is actually the possibility of adding space upgrades in increments of 10, 25, 50, 100, or 200 gigabytes. Here’s some info about all the possibilities of upgrading for site’s space:
The cost of a 10 GB is $20, which is what you purchased on 5/3/2014. That cost was only charged once on your account.
I can either let that stay as is, if you want to stick with 10 GB, or I can cancel the subscription, refund you the cost, and you can purchase a larger space upgrade. You let me know how you’d like to proceed and I’ll take care of it.

I originally purchased a space upgrade to 10 GB some time ago. I figured my $20 payment on 5/3/14 would give me an additional 10 GB but my space didn’t seem to increase. If I can receive an additional 10 GB I wont need a refund, otherwise a refund would be great. Thank you so much for your help

Your account displays that you originally purchased a 10 GB upgrade for $20 on 7/23/2012. You renewed that subscription on 7/22/2013 — this was also $20 for a 10 GB upgrade. Finally, on 5/3/2014, you renewed the upgrade again. Even though you did this early, your expiration date will still be a year from your last renewal: 7/23/2015.
Space Upgrades last one full calendar year. They must either be renewed, or they expire and your space allotment returns to the default.
If I give you a refund for your most recent $20 renewal, your Space Upgrade will expire on 7/23/2014. Would you like me to do that? If I do, you can purchase the larger space upgrade (25 GB/$50).
Or, you can leave things as-is, and keep your 10 GB upgrade through 7/23/2015.
