I need a shopping cart solution
-
I have digital products on Edition Guard. I need a shopping cart solution that will trigger a download link after the sale is complete.
**NOT WOO.
Woo no longer works, The ‘order status control’ plugin stopped working after the Oct. 11 update. There is no fix in sight.
I need a new, reliable solution. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi @erics0222,
Since your WooCommerce install was at one point working and now doesn’t, you can reach out to their support if you haven’t already to get help with the erring plugin. https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/
If you haven’t seen, Edition Guard even has a custom plugin to work alongside WooCommerce. If what the plugin offers is valuable, it may be worth solving the WooCommerce issues: https://www.editionguard.com/wordpress/
Beyond that, I’m not in a position to make an alternate recommendation that I know to be reliable, as you asked for. You can search Google, of course: https://www.google.com/search?q=shopping+carts+wordpress
If you’ll reply to my thoughts with what you’ve tried so far, someone else from staff or community can pick up the thread and we can all make the next step in getting a shopping cart back up and running on your site.
Best,

Hi Jesse,
I do have the Edition Guard plugin, and I have the info saved in the Woo settings. It sounds like the update is the culprit.
From SkyVeryge:
“Thanks for the notes on Order Status Control here and for upgrading. However, I’m certain this is a WooCommerce core issue, as Order Status Control does not make any changes to order emails. WooCommerce 3.2 *did* fully change the order email code, which unfortunately resulted in several regressions — see issue 1, issue 2, issue 3, issue 4, issue 5, and a few others.”I appreciate your response.
Thank you. -

Eric,
I’m glad to hear you reached out to Woo for help. I hope you get back up and running. Even if you end up going a different route for your shopping cart solution, it’s important for developers to know how their updates affect their user’s websites, and you’re offering that to WooCommerce.
Good luck getting back up and running!
Jesse
