I need a tutorial that matches you current version of wordpress.com

    I need to find a VERY BASIC tutorial the matches the current version of wordpress.com for today, 01/18/2015. There are plenty of great tutorials out here, but there are subtle differences that stop a rank beginner such as myself. For instance, my toolbar is different than what is shown in one tutorial, and the theme specified in another tutorial is not available today.

    WordPress.com is constantly changing and any tutorial written for the standalone WordPress software you may find by searching the Internet is not always relevant for sites hosted on WordPress.com

    Two resources you should be looking at are:
