I need a URL redirect

    Hello.

    I’d want pihastudio.wordpress.comto redirect to pihastudio.fi. I tried to buy a redirect, but alas, since the domain pihastudio.fi used to be linked to the pihastudio.wordpress.com account, wordpress.com won’t let me purchase a redirect.

    In Domain Management, i see the following:

    Type:
    Mapped Domain
    Mapping expires on:
    November 24, 2016

    I really, really don’t want to wait to be able to purchase a redirect till november this year. Please, I don’t want pihastudio.fi to have anything to do with pihastudio.wordpress.com, EXCEPT that pihastudio.wordpress.com/* redirects to pihastudio.fi/*

    Hi there!

    If you would like to direct traffic going to a wordpress.com address to a domain hosted elsewhere, domain mapping is the right way to go. In order for that to work, you will also need to set pihastudio.fi as the Primary domain for pihastudio.wordpress.com by following these instructions:

    Hi,

    You are correct, I understand that now. I don’t need the mapping removed :) I set pihastudio.fi as the primary domain and now trying to access pihastudio.wordpress.com redirects to the new blog while retaining permalink, works perfectly!
