  What domain are you trying to verify? I don’t see any domain upgrades in your account.

  It is not possible to change a free WordPress.com address into an email address, so there is no way to do what you’re trying to do.

  If you want an email attached to your domain you will need to register a custom domain instead. Then you will be able to add the DNS records you need to verify and connect an email account.
