I need advice on adding an email address to my new domain please?

I have just upgraded to Domain Mapping and WordPress Premium. I now have a new domain http://maxinedodd.com/- all working great so far! However, I would like to make a new email address that uses the new domain name. eg. (email visible only to moderators and staff). I have looked on Help and see that WordPress doesn’t host email but suggests that I can do some nifty things with custom DNS settings. However, my technical capabilities are running out now and I need some help from an expert! I hope you can advise my next steps please… :-)

Hi Maxine, in order to add email to your site, you’ll first need to get an account with an email provider. Your email provider will then let you know the specific technical information – like the DNS records – that you’ll need to set up on the WordPress.com side. Once you have that info, we can definitely help you set it up here.

However, it isn’t quite the answer to my question which is that I want to create an email address that uses my new domain name. ie., (email visible only to moderators and staff) Could you tell me whether or not that is possible? Hi Maxine, I understand that you would like to create an email address on your custom domain maxinedodd.com, like (email visible only to moderators and staff).
As I mentioned earlier, it is possible to do that, but since WordPress.com isn’t an email host itself, you do first need to sign up for some email hosting with a separate company. Hi again, I’ve registered with Zoho mail, but am struggling now with verification of my domain. I have a unique code but can’t seem to create the CName properly… Help!

I’ve had another go and this time, the command has been accepted. Just hope it’s right! It will take 45 mins to take effect so will see what happens then…. fingers crossed!

Hello again, I’ve tried to validate my domain but still no joy. I’ve logged the problem with Zoho mail as well. I bought the domain from you on 7th August, could it be that I’m trying this too soon?

Hello again, Good news! Zoho mail have come back to me with a missing digit and now my domain has been verified. Phew! I think we can count this matter as resolved now, as the email should link in ok. Keep your fingers crossed! Thanks very much :-)
