I need an Authentification Code from the Support team?
-
Dear Support Team,
I made a chain of bad decisions, which led to me deleting my website, my subscription, and my domain instead of transferring it to my new hosting service.
The domain is now in the RGP phase. In order to transfer it to another hosting service, I was told that I would need an authentication code.
My Domain is “zustandmensch-osteopathie.de”
Could you help me with this? -
Because your domain zustandmensch-osteopathie.de has entered the Redemption Grace Period (RGP), it is currently in a “locked” state at the registry, which prevents a standard transfer using an authentication code. In this phase, the domain is no longer active and cannot be moved to a new host until it is first restored by the original registrar (WordPress.com). To get your domain back, you must first pay a redemption fee (which is a mandatory fee charged by the domain registry, not just WordPress) to bring it back to an “Active” status; once the domain is restored to your account, you will then be able to generate the Auth-Code (or Transfer Key) needed to move it to your new hosting service. Please contact WordPress.com support immediately to request a restoration invoice, as this is the only way to “rescue” the domain before it is eventually released for public registration.

I currently do not habe a subscritpion and the only way I can get into contact with them is via Chatbot which leads me to this forum or this forum.
So how should I get into contact with them? -
Since you have posted your request here, please wait for a staff member to notice your post on this forum, as they are the only ones who can manually generate the redemption invoice and provide the authentication code for your specific domain. While the forum is public, WordPress.com staff members regularly monitor these threads to assist with critical account and billing issues that cannot be resolved through automated tools. Once a staff member replies to this thread, they will likely move the conversation to a private email ticket to securely handle your payment and domain recovery details.

@lukaskuntz0295e1602f641f If WordPress.com is your domain registrar, you’ll need staff assistance. I’ve gone ahead and added the
modlooktag to this thread to bring your thread to their attention.@james3265166 thanks for your assistance. For future reference, if you haven’t seen it yet, you might find the support guide to volunteering informative.

@justjennifer thanks for the information. And yes wordpress.com is my domain registrar. I can prove it via bills.

I solved my problem by simply choosing a different domain.
But thanks for the help so far. :)
