I need an experienced blogger to check my site for rookie mistakes.

I’ve just done my first blog post, after I’ve finished formatting it. Could someone who knows their stuff have a quick look at my formatting, syntax, etc. to check for obvious mistakes and places where a quick change could make things better? I have zero experience with WordPress, so I’ve probably made a few errors. Also, I’m dissatisfied with how my ‘Gallery’ section is done. My intention was for it to be a place where I put any pictures that happen to interest me, in a non-structured format. I made a page which I intended to update every time I wanted to add a new photo, but that’s clunky and you can’t comment on individual photos. I’m wondering if there’s a is a gallery-like function I could use made for this purpose? If I can’t find one I’ll just make it a category, but that’s not the best either. If anyone could help me with either of there two I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You’re over-thinking this. It’s a blog, not a sculpture in irreplaceable marble. Just blog and learn over time; that’s how it’s done.
People PAY people to give blog critiques. If you want a free one, there are social forums where you can find that. The tech support forums are for when you have a specific question. Like your photo question.
Some themes have Gallery pages built in, and a search of the Themes page on the dashboard will turn those up. Otherwise blogs are easiest to use when you make posts, not stick everything in one static page. Use a theme that supports different post formats like Image, StandarddPost, Quote, etc, and you’ll soon see how they look different and work differently. Choose the post format on the right hand side of the Write Post page.

The site you are asking about does not seem to be hosted on WordPress.COM so you need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using.
This site is for support of sites hosted on WordPress.COM. You should address your questions to WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are using: http://wordpress.org/support/
The forum at WordPress.ORG is not connected to WordPress.COM so you will need to open an account at .ORG if you do not already have one. You may use the same email at WordPress.ORG as you do at WordPress.COM.
