I need an old blog removed.

I have tried this before and no one seems to be able to help me. I have an old blog here on wordpress that I no longer use nor know the log in information for (besides the username) and I do not have the email address that was associated with the account anymore.
It has been 2 years since I last used that account. My boyfriend just recently passed away and there a lot of mentions of him on that blog. I want this blog removed and. I’m sure there must be a way for someone to do this… The blog that needs to be removed is not the one listed here..

You failed to provide the link to the blog in question. I’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

Log out of WordPress.COM and clear your browser cache and cookies http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/ Then log in under the correct username account to delete the blog.
To delete a WordPress.COM blog you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

Then you have to use account recovery first and delete the blog second. There is only one means of account recovery. Please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery with as much information as you can provide, and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Yes, that’s correct. Thank-you. I’m not sure if the problem will be resolved as soon as I would like however I did complete the form for account recovery after you sent me the link.

Good. There is a backlog but Account Recovery Staff will assist you as soon as they can.
