  I wanted to start a blog but forgot I created freewordspace some years back.

  I need clarity on a few things;
  Is there anyway for you to tell me where I got the domain and hosting from?

  I’ve noticed some of my posts have got ads at the bottom of them. Is there anyway to remove these? To stop ads appearing on my posts?

  Can I delete everything I’ve done, my headshot, header image, bio and all posts, and start from scratch, with no reference of previous dates, etc?

  Do I still own my work or does WordPress?

  WordPress.com’s basic service is free, and we offer paid plans that add advanced features like a custom domain name, extra storage, and access to premium themes. We don’t own your content, and you retain all ownership rights you have in the content you post to your website.

  If you do not own the image you’re adding to your site, you would need to get permission from the image owner and provide proper citations of the source of the image. Violations of copyright would be a violation of our Terms of Service.

  When people or social media groups join do my posts go to their social media platforms?

  Can you clarify what you’re asking? Followers of your blog would only see your posts on the WordPress.com Reader or via email (if they opt-in to receive new post emails). Any followers you have on social media would only see your new posts on your blog if you set up your blog to automatically publish new post links on each social network.
