I bought the premium package but received no instructions on how to email a WordPress employee to help me set up my blog with my domain name. I need customer support please.

I’m not at all clear why you think Staff support is required to do the domain mapping set up. Bloggers can do this without any assistance at all. Nothing changes except the URL when your purchase a domain.

If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

In the description for the premium package email support for setup questions is listed as a benefit of the premium package. If that’s not the case then I prefer a refund as I won’t really need the premium package. I initialy redirected my domain name as per the instructions on the wordpress site and then I stopped receiving my email. Network Solutions instructed me to work from the WordPress side. I need help if I’m to continue.

Network Solutions needs to give you some info – then follow the instructions below – all DIY – remember it takes time for changes to migrate across the internet

It looks like your domain is not pointing to WordPress.com name servers yet. Please go to your domain registrar’s site and log into the control panel. You will need to update the name servers as below:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMAfter that you can contact Network Solutions to request the MX e-mail records. Once I receive these records I can set these at https://sandykerrdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=sandykerr.com in order for your e-mail to work.

Thanks for all the help. I did go ahead and set up a new domain name and followed the instructions to point it to wordpress. I should have done this immediately since four days after I set up my blog name, the same domain name .com was taken. Lesson learned: when in doubt take it if it’s available. I appreciate the time you each took to reach out and help.
