  please let me know how to retrieve FTP credentials for my site to copy the files to the server?

  Here at WordPress.com we cannot access the servers via FTP: https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/

  What do you need to do exactly? maybe there is some other ways to download your data. (You can read more at https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/)
