I need help!!!!!

    Hi, I want to build my site on wordpress.org but signed up for a wordprss.com course by accident! What shall I do?
    I bought a domain name but on WP.com I have not connected it. I want it to be on my WP.org site, once I have installed WP.org, chosen a theme etc.

    I currently have my WP.com account connected to my yahoo email address and the domain here on WP.com is myname.wordpress.com.

    How can I take advantage of this .com course and what is best to create here that I can easily transfer to my .org site later?
    I hope you can help me do the right thing.

    hi,

    You can continue to build your website on WordPress.com and move it to your own hosted site later by using the Export tool to backup all of your content or move your content to a new WordPress site when you are ready.

    Alternatively, you can transfer the domain to your own hosted WordPress site now following the steps here:

    The domain will have to be 60 days old before it can be transferred. Until that time, you can point it elsewhere by editing the name servers.
