I need help

Did the format of editing a saved post change? It takes me to a page I’ve never seen before. I can’t get to adding the degree mark, changing the size of fractions etc.

When I go to write and edit a post it takes me to a ‘block editor’. It used to go directly to what I think is called the ‘classic editor’ where I could make changes, additions, etc. I don’t know if I unknowingly made a switch from classic to block, if this is possible, or if WordPress switched. I would like to go to the classic editor right away. I would write the title, save it, and then reload it in the classic editor and write my post there being able to refine it as I liked.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !

The classic editor has been removed from WordPress.com. You should have received an email warning you of this in May already.
The block editor is now the default for all sites on WordPress.com, and it’s not possible to switch the default back to the classic editor any more.
You can still use the classic block for a similar experience to using the classic editor. But if you also use the mobile app we don’t recommend using this block, as the classic block is not supported in the mobile app.

Yes. That’s the one I’m talking about.
I’ve used the classic editor up to to I believe it was this past Thursday. And No, I never got notice that WordPress was changing, which doesn’t surprise me. I’ve found a way to get to the classic editor, so until they screw that up, I’ll be okay.
I never use a mobile app so should be able to make do with the extra step I’ll have to go through.Thanks for the help.
