  I added a plugin and it messed up my entire webpage. Can you please help me restore it to an earlier date

  What is the exact URL starting with http:// of your site please?

  I’m asking because we cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting.

  Thank you for offering to help, but I was able to correct the issue. I located the prior revision, and then returned that page to my static home page. Thank you again for your willingness to assist!

  Allow me to be clear on this. We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites here. We cannot accurately answer questions posted here until we have confirmed the URL referred to and verified the hosting.

  We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites and that one is not among them. Our support docs do not apply to (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.   As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
