I need help adding a calendar to my site with a link in the menu.

  I don’t know how to create the calendar. I want to link it to the main page so people can just click on it. Maybe even show the current month on the main page. I am REALLY new to all this so am having trouble navigating back and forth so I tend to use my back button rather than risk losing where I am.

  You can embed a Google calendar in a page following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/google-calendar/

  The new page should automatically appear in your header navigation. If not, you can add it through Appearance -> Menus in your Dashboard. See this for more info: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
