I need help canceling my registered domain.

I’ve read on customer support that I need to go to My Upgrades and click Cancel from there, but there is not Cancel option. I want to delete my domain name, but I can’t figure out how. Please help!

Hi there. If it has been more that 48 hours after you registered the domain you won’t be able to cancel it yourself:

I can cancel the domain for you, but I need you to confirm first that you understand if you cancel the domain you may not be able to get it back. Cancelled domains go through a lengthy process where they are unavailable for repurchase for up to 90 days. After that, there is no guarantee that you’ll be able to buy it back before someone else does.
If you don’t intend to use the domain (at WordPress.com or anywhere else) this is not a problem.
If you do want to use the domain, you just want to use it somewhere else, let me know and I can help you figure out the best way to do that.
