I need help, i don’t know to upload music to my wordpress

  I have a song uploaded on my windows player, that i want to post on, bit every time i try , i fail miserably. can someone , please, please, please, give me a step by step instructions, or help me put it on there. i have a deadline with an artist i was suppose to post their song up today, but im stuck. I tried every search engine and none of them seem useful.
