    hi, i want to know if my account has been deactivated.. i had a 2 year subscription. do i need to signup for hosting again.? i just bout a beatstore plugin from beatstore.com and was trying to use wordpress dashboard on my account. do i need a new wordpress hosting accound and pleace if so, can you add a link to purchase please. thank you!

    It sounds like you’re not sure whether to use a managed site with WordPress.com the service, or host your own copy of WordPress with another provider. You seem to have started an installation with someone else and are now wondering whether you need services here, too.

    Basically one is a managed hosting service that provides SSL hosting, direct support with paid plans, maintenance, security, spam filtering, backups, etc. The other is free software; you get your own hosting and any other services you need. We have more info on the differences here or a quick summary at get.wp.com.

    If you want to host here, you’ll want the Business plan so you can install plugins:
