I need help importing from XML file from the old squarespace 5

  When I upload XML file, I get a confirmation email that it was successfull but everything is still blank. I found this support forum:

  and it seems to have the answer but i think i need support help to be able to fix my file…its the older version of squarespace 5 so there is no feature on their website that allows me to export for wordpress, only allows me a snapshot file and when I upload into wordpress, i get confirmation it is done and then nothing is there. everything is blank.

  Squarespace changed their export system significantly since Squarespace 5, which was released in 2008, and we had to update our import system to support their new export format.

  Because of this, I’m sorry, we can no longer support imports from Squarespace 5.

  I recommend asking Squarespace to update the site and then generate an export.

  Once you have an export from a current version of Squarespace, you’ll be able to import it by following the steps at https://wordpress.com/support/import/import-from-squarespace/
