I NEED HELP INVITING FRIEND & FAM TO MY BLOG

  Hello-

  I have about 2000 contacts i normally keep in contact with, whom i want to invite to my blog. I’m sure most of them do not have their own blogs, and i’ve tried inviting them through gmail, but i kept getting blocked as a spammer. i am not a spammer, i just want to notify my friends, family, biz contacts & partners when i update my blog. Can anyone help me? I thought one of those email marketing programs would get the job done, but they seem so shady. they have all of these programs to keep sending mail, and i DO NOT want to do that. Like i said, i just want to send notifications out once or twice a month. Any advice?

  If you are sending 2000 E-mails about your Blog your are definitely be accused of a spammer.

  One cant force their friends to know when about have a new post via E-mail. They will again be accused of being a spammer

  A wordpress.com blog will have an RSS feed which readers can follow for updates.

  an idea:
  create a post inviting your Readers to subscribe to your blog via RSS if they wish..

  You make an excellent point. If they all had their own blogs it would be a no brainer. Thanks for taking the time out to help me, i sincerely appreciate that.

  A lot of spammers use – or try to use – gmail. Google has taken that fact seriously.
