I need help making the mobile site look correct
-
The preview of the website on mobile looks nothing like the actual mobile site once I’ve published it. It looks to me like the css didn’t show up or something. I have no background to the theme on the published mobile, and a huge chunk of text on the home page is off the screen, and there’s no way to scroll to see it. The text that’s off the screen is a
of links. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Hi there.
Brand New Day has a fixed width layout. That means this theme needs a minimum screen width to show the content, and this width is not assured in a mobile phone.
There are 2 things you could do if you need your blog to be adapted to mobile phones. First, you could try to activate the mobile theme option in your dashboard [More info here https://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/theme-layouts/ ].
Second, to choose a Responsive Theme. You can filter themes [https://wordpress.com/themes/] using this as an option, clicking “…MORE” to show filters.
I hope this helps.

Hi there, what is causing the unordered list to be outside of the mobile theme viewport is the 350px left padding you have in your page HTML. You can remove that and add a bit more left margin on your image in the style section and it should be fine.
If having your site viewable on mobile is important, and with more and more of the web viewing going that way, I would suggest looking at one of our themes with Responsive Layout, which automatically adjusts for any screen/window width. We currently have 272 to choose from that you can see here. If you choose one of the responsive themes, go to Appearance > Mobile and disable the Mobile theme.
