Hi there,
WordPress.com does not have a built in tool for exporting an entire site’s contents into a single text file. There are however a number of “blog-to-book” services like FastPencil and BlogBooker, that let you import your WordPress blog and turn it into a printed book. You may wish to investigate if they have other options besides printing, and can offer a document file instead.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Please assist. How does one communicate with WordPress?
I have a problem that I can not solve on my own – I have asked for help and received a Forum reply, but unfortunately, it did not solve my problem.
I would like to export or copy or paste all 115 short stories that I have written on my blog, to a simple Word File.
I have a publisher who now wants to publish the stories in a book, but she nees one, integrated, autonomous file, which she and her staff can edit.
I have tried to export the whole content, but it does not seem to work. Thanks a million for reading this.

Hi there –
Yes, you received an answer to your forum request from a staff member. We continue to offer support to customers who don’t have any upgrades with us which is very unique in our industry, and for any company. We are doing our best to help.
From our end, and as my colleague mentioned, we have integrations with 3rd party companies who take export files from WordPress and turn them in to a book. This is the integration we can offer for a blog-book feature.
A general export file won’t be set up like you’ve requested, as a word file.
If using one of the previously mentioned companies to accomplish this isn’t an option than I think the best way forward is to copy + paste each blog post on to it’s own new page in your word file. So each post has their own page, but collectively it would be 1 file that you could then share with the team.
All the posts will still be here so long as nothing gets deleted. There’s no need to worry about retrieving the posts again if needed or something goes awry.
To accomplish the copy + paste
– open your word doc
– get to the editing screen for the first post
– copy the text, you can use cmd+a to “select all”
– paste in the word dod
– add a new page to the word doc
– repeat for 2nd postUsing a platform like Google Docs will auto save your work as you go.

Thank you very much indeed, Zinnia.
I have tried your solution now and it works! It is a rather slow process, but the result is exactly what I wanted to do.
Thanks a million for helping – I appreciate your time and support.
Very best wishes
Henning
