I need help putting together website via wordpress!!

  I am looking to put together my own website. I have been asking around and researching and it seems wordpress may be the vehicle to help me put it together. Now I have a wordpress blog currently. Should I just upgrade and convert that one to my stand alone site or just go the wordpress.org route?

  A blog is a website. Page based sites which are not attractive to search engines are commonly referred to as “websites” and post based sites are commonly referred to as “blogs”
