I need help setting up.

I have Minimum. Documentation says that to customize navigation I need to go to my dashboard and to Appearance. I have a ‘dashboard’ of sorts but there is no link to Appearance. The Sample shows two navigation bars along with pictures. All those features are a part of my plan for my site. How do I set up the look and feel (not exactly) of the sample? Also, it seem to me there should be some pages someplace. I know the widgets are need for some of this but where is the road map to help find them?

Hi there!
Minimum is a little tricky compared to most themes, but it’s beautiful once you’re done with the setup. :)
The Appearance section it refers to is your /wp-admin/ dashboard here:

But you can also setup the widgets in your Customizer:

The tricky thing about menus is that you first have to create the menu, then set that menu to a location.
The Minimum demo has two menus created. The first one is made up of all Category Pages, and is set as the “Primary Navigation” location:
The second is made up of all Pages, and is then set to its location not in the Menu settings, but using a Custom Menu Widget in the “Header Right” widget area:

Yes, to add pages to that second menu, you’ll need to have several pages published. In the demo they have pages titled “Sample Page” “Page Layouts” and “Columns” , for example.
