I need help transferring a theme I purchased to my newer blog.

  Hi, I had purchased the Premium Opti Theme a while ago and used it for a blog that is no longer active (thereformedlibertarian.wordpress.com). On the “My Upgrades” page it shows that the theme never expires and shows me the option for transferring it to another site of mine. When I try to transfer it though, it says “transfer failed.”

  I want to transfer this theme to my site trljournal.wordpress.com. Thank you for the help.

  If you deactivate the theme on thereformedlibertarian.wordpress.com (just choose a free theme from the themes page) and then try the transfer again it should work.

  Thanks for the response. If you go to the old site (thereformedlibertarian.wordpress.com), you’ll notice that it has been deleted. I did this last year. I can’t figure out if I can deactivate the theme on a deleted site at this point. Do you have any advise on this? When I go to my upgrades page it still shows that the theme is attached to the site. I just don’t know how to access the old site because it’s not even showing up in the “my sites” section. Let me know if you have any other ideas. Thanks!
