I need help with displaying images, please.

  I have used tables (800px width) to display simple portfolio pages of images using the Widely theme (chosen partly for the responsive layout). I have three problems:
  1. the pages won’t display on my ipad
  2. the cells are formatted to place the image centre/middle but they are displaying left in Safari, Firefox and IE)
  3. I can’t work out how to place the whole table in the centre.
