I need help with the "Stay" theme.

  I want my blog to look the same as the demo, specifically the featured image that shows on the homepage. I want to set up the featured image on the homepage so that it is just like the demo. (sort of like a header?) http://traditionsbb.com/ <—-I want my website to be like this
  Please help me and tell me step by step because I’m new to this.
