I need help with this domain!

    I made this domain name thinking I would make the blog here. But I just signed up for Spotify For Podcasters, and there’s a button to turn your podcast into a WordPress blog. I would want this domain name for that. But if I got to click delete on this one, it says that domain will never be available again. What can I do?

    Hi there!

    If you’re asking about the “sparkthegenius.wordpress.com” URL, it is not one you can use anywhere other than WordPress.com.

    However, their tools should allow you to connect to an existing website. If not, can you link us to their support documentation that shows this requirement?

    I’ve had https://joshrachlis.wordpress.com forever, and wanted to change the name, but I read that if I do that, I can never get that address back for anything. So, 2 weeks ago, I started https://sparkthegenius.wordpress.com, but haven’t posted anything yet. Then this week, I moved my podcast hosting service to Spotify – https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sparkthegenius – and they have a feature Connect To WordPress, where you can start a blog to have your podcast on. But, if I do that, I can’t get sparkthegenius. But if I delete the other blog, is that name gone forever?
