  I need an IP address to map my own domain and WordPress homepage.

  You will want to first purchase the domain mapping subscription. If you wish to make the custom domain your primary address, you will need a paid plan – the mapping will then be free.

  We recommend mapping the domain by changing the name servers on the domain, rather then IP addressed as those may change:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  In case your registrar does not allow you to change the nameservers, after adding the domain mapping reach back here or via https://wordpress.com/help/contact and we will help you out with the IP addresses.
