No one answering questions here is dead, and phone support does not exist, nor is it superior to written support, so please simply type what you need help with and we will provide it.
There is no phone support here and our support Staff do not design websites. WordPress.com is a turnkey operation with off the shelf themes. Limited CSS editing is available via annually renewable upgrade only.

but it takes longer if we do that.This is a peer support forum where Staff and Volunteers work together cooperatively to provide WordPress.com support. Volunteers answer the majority of all support questions and when we cannot provide support we tag threads for Staff assistance.
We are happy to answer your WordPress.COM questions right here in this thread. Please simply post exactly what you need help with into this thread, knowing there’s rarely ever a question posted here that has not already been asked and answered.

I hired a “professional company” to build websites for two of my companies: Pest Control General Store (.com) and Inspirational Bling (.net) The sites they were building were beautiful but not finished and the company is no where to be found. I am out hundreds of dollars and the worst part is… though I have Host Gator hosting, the sites are directed to THEIR SERVERS (the rip-off company) and I can’t get control of my sites. When their hosting plans run out, my sites will go away.
I need to find out if anyone at WP can help me. I am hoping that if I buy support, or if there is a plug in that can be purchased, we can get all of the copy and the images on to a site that I can control. I would be happy to pay WP for hosting, etc. I DON’T WANT TO LOOSE ALL THE WORK and countless hours that have gone in to this site.
Please help?

Ugh! That is no fun! I’m sorry to hear about your situation. @timethief is right, there is not much we can do for you here. However, perhaps just two quick thoughts:
1. What you are wanting to do shouldn’t be too difficult. As long as the site is up, all of the code is there. The source files could be easily copied by someone who knows a little about web development.
2. You may want to try finding someone on oDesk, Freelancer, Craigslist, etc. who you can pay a set fee to copy the code, set up your hosting, and make any finishing touches. Or googling “Copy site code” will give you some tutorials on how to being the process.
Hope that’s at least a little helpful and you can get this resolved soon!

I need someone to answer my questions but I’m getting no response from emails I sent to WP support. I had upgraded to 13MB storage and have reached the maximum. Before deciding to upgrade to the Business plan, I thought I’d delete posts and photos to make space, as I did many times in the past. But even though I removed at least 10 pages and lots of photos, the storage space remains full. How can that be?

@angelafurtado1 – hijacking an unrelated thread to your issue usually means you never get any help – you should open your own thread
but – images need to be deleted from the medial library – deleting a Post or Page will not free up any space since the images remain in the media library
