I need lots of help please!!!!

    Hello everyone,

    I have just joined wordpress on the advice of a friend of mine, there are lots of things i could do with answers do if anyone can help????

    I am the new webmaster for the arsenal hampshire supporters club, so as a result, i get to build a website/blog.

    Now if i make the blog on here, can i get the page under the url arsenalhampshire.com (which i already own on 123-reg.com<——–dont get me started with these people)

    Secondly can i add picture galleries, polls, forums etc on the site?

    And last but not least,

    Will i ever be able to edit the site…..

    I am on AOL and the browser seems to block me entering every single website with a https url. i have done all the things aol said to do, but none work.

    Any replies would be greatly appreciated, however, i am not the most technically minded person when it comes to all this stuff (still learning——-and got a long way to go!!!)

    For your domain name you will have to get wordpress hosted, or buy a domain name.

    For the forum and polls and stuff you can view my blog as I have both added to the blog.

    For customizing their is not really much ability, don’t know when new themes will have more options.

    Please take a few minutes to read the FAQ posted at the head of this forum and as well as the FAQ blog. They will probably help answer many of the questions you have.

    As to the domain, currently there’s no method on WP.com’s side to host domains. Matt and crew have stated (and I’ve been made aware of a couple test cases) that domain hosting may/ would be an option in the future but probably under some sort of paid option.

    picture galleries, polls, forums can be hosted on the normal version of WordPress that would be hosted elsewhere but not with the WordPress MultiUser that we run here. Best bet would be to create them with another free host like Pat’s fan suggests and just link to them. I use a Gallery install on my own webspace to post pictures to my webcomic and, for me, that works fine.

    As to the issue with the security setting, there’s not a whole lot I can offer help with on that one. We had someone else metion the same problem yesterday. (I don’t see the thread right off though.) You might want to send in an email (Sating that because you can’t log in to send in a feedback) to support at this domain and see if they have any suggestions. If you’re on AOL-Europe, what browser are you using? Here in the States, that use a fork of IE. I’m assuming that it’s the same over there.
