I need my domain email back!
-
WP is the reseller of my Google email address that was connected to my site, that I deactivated last month. I didn’t know deactivating was going to suspend my email address too. How do I get my email back so I can stay in touch with my clients?

You’ll need to first recover the domain.
As mentioned during the domain cancellation, we cannot guarantee when or even if you’ll be able to re-register the domain. That is because the majority of the cancellation process is outside of our control, and this is true for all domain registrars.
The good news is that your domain is still under the grace period and can still be be recovered by us within the next 5 days. After that, we won’t have any control.
If you would like to do this, I have sent a payment request for the $18 domain registration fee to the email address on your account, since you have already received a full refund.
Once paid, please reply here to let us know, and we’ll recover the domain. Again, this will only be possible for the next 5 days. After that, we cannot guarantee when or even if you’ll be able to re-register the domain.
Once the domain is recovered here, you’ll be able to direct it anywhere simply by changing its name servers: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/change-name-servers/
And, after 60 days (another policy outside of domain registrar control), you’ll be able to transfer it elsewhere: https://wordpress.com/support/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
As for bringing Gmail back to the domain, you’ll need to either re-purchase G Suite through us: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/adding-g-suite-to-your-site/
Or, purchase it through another provider (like Google directly) and connect it to your domain here: https://wordpress.com/support/add-email/add-email-through-g-suite/

Payment received!
I have contacted our domain partner, and we’ll let you know as soon as the domain has been recovered.
