  I created a domain. HostPapa is my host site. I installed WP in hostpapa and added the email address associated with my new domain. Unfortunately, I have not created the actual email address, the website is not built yet. I dont pay for WP so I cant contact WP, pretty sad. How do I get a new password sent to an actual email address…thank you

  I noticed you mentioned that you installed WordPress. This means you used the self-hosted version of the software, often called WordPress.org. This forum is equipped to support WordPress.com hosted sites.

  Since this two is two entirely different companies, we WordPress.com staff don’t have any access to your site’s details or account information.

  You might also would like to contact HostPapa, you domain provider. They might be able to help.

  Hi! You do pay HostPapa, so they can likely help you with this. Or if it’s a brand-new installation, it may be easier to just start over and put in a working email address.

  Going forward, for help with the free WordPress software itself, you’ll also want to use the correct forums for self-managed installations, at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  These forums are actually for the sites hosted by WordPress.com, so you’ll find more relevant answers by searching those forums. Cheers!
