I need nameserver details

    I am in urgent need of the nameserver details for my domain name. I need to switch it over to another hosting service. Could you please tell me how to get that info?

    Hi There,

    Keegan here, I would be happy to help.

    Sounds like you would like to map your domain, meaning you would like to keep the domain here but point it to your site on another host. Let me know if this is your intent.

    To map a domain:

    1. Go to your Domains Page(https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/) and click Add Domain.
    2. Click the Upgrade button next to “Already own a Domain?”
    3. Enter the domain you would like to map and click Add.
    4. Finish the checkout process to add the domain or pay for a plan, if you don’t have one already.

    Finally you will need to add the WordPress.com nameservers to your registry account where you bought the domain. You can ask your domain registery to help with this or add them yourself. WordPress.com nameservers are –

    NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
    NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

    Now all you have to do is wait. The mapping process can take up to 72 hours to finish, but can be as little as a few moments.
