I need pull quotes

  I am using the 2014 theme and I am not see that “pull quotes” are available in my dashboard for my posts, but I see them in the demo for the theme. How can I get those?

  Pull quotes can be enhanced on wider screens by simply adding a class of alignleft or alignright to a blockquote element, and the quote will float into the margin accordingly.   I have tried doing that and it just makes the text change color. it doesn’t put it in the margins or in the middle of the paragraph. Literally the only thing that changes is the color and it italicizes it.

  I have a 27″ Mac screen (desk top). If this screen isn’t big enough, I don’t know what is.

  Hey there!

  To achieve the same effect as in the demo, a bit of tweaking has to be done to your post. I edited your “Filming: There Will Be Blood” post here:

  And converted one chunk of text into a pull quote:

  “You got this part because  I thought that “YOU” were perfect. So drop the accent and just be your self. Thats what I want to see.”

  You can see the result here:

  To align the pull quote to the left, simply change “alignright” to “alignleft”.

  This helps a lot! So the only way I can create more pull quotes in the future is to just copy the css of the pull quote you made and paste it in a different post? The button still isn’t working for me.

  Yes, to create more pull quotes, copying and pasting the pull quote I made would do if you’re still having trouble using the toolbar button. Best regards! :)
